MURDER OF A CASHIER.
Arrest of the Murderer.
(Received To-day, at 0.7 a.m.)
London, Last Night,
Albert Smith, a cashier in Cook's Tourist Branch, at Nottingham, was shot dead while locking the safe. The murderer escaped without having secured any booty.
William Sanday, a petty officer in the merchant service, has been arrested, and confessed to the murder.
