Misunderstanding of an Order

London, Last Night.
Three hundred stokers in the naval barracks at Portsmouth, resenting an order, which they apparently misunderstood, attempted to quit the barracks and wreck the officers' apartments. The whole force was mobilised to guard, with fixed bayonets, the gate preventing their exit. The Commodore heard their grievances and pacified the men, his tact terminating an ugly
