A meeting of citizens was held tonight to decide what should be done with the balance of the fund raised locally for the benefit of those who went to fight m South Alrica. There is a balance of £880, and it was resolved to erect in the Queen's Gardens a memorial to the iallen troopers at a cost ot £250, and to devote the balance, after meeting claims, towards the erection of a fever hospital.
