ARBITRATION COURT.
The Bakers' Dispute.

The Arbitration Court gave an award this morning in the bakers' dispute, affecting Wellington, Hawke's Bay, Wanganui, Palmerston and Wairarapa district.
The main features are the hours of labour to be 51 per week. The hour of starting work to be not earlier than 4 a.m.
The minimum wages to be: Foreman or first hand, ; second hand, £2 10s; table hands, £2 5s ; jobbers, 10s per day of eight hours.
Holidays to be New Year's, 'Xmas and Boxing Days, Good Friday and Easter Monday, the Sovereigns Birthday, Labour Day, Anniversary Day, Prince of Wales' Birthday.
Apprentices to be indentured for four years. Wage at starting to be 12s 6d, increasing by 2s 6d per week every six
months
Provision is made for the employment of under-rate workmen.
