Butter and Cheese.

The butter market is weaker, and there is a poor demand. Danish unchanged ; New Zealand, 945, occasionally 955; Victoria, 92s to 935; New South Wales, 88s to 90s; Queensland, 86s to 90s. The Corinthic's cargo arrived in excellent condition.
The cheese market is steady and un changed.
MASTEBTON PRODUCE MARKET.
The present week's prices current are : — Wheat, new, 3s 3d; oats, new Is 8d; barley, 3/- ; maize,4s; flour, £11 (forsacks); straw chaff, 27s 6d; oaten sheaf, new 52s 6d ; pollard, £6; bran, £4 10s ; potatoes, new £8; grass seeds: rye, Hawke's Bay, os 9d to Os; Southern, 4s 6d to 4s 9d.
Butter, 6£d, factory 10d to lid ; eggs, Is 3d; cheese, ssd.
These prices are ivholesale buying, and apply to this district only, xmlcss otherwise stated.
