An attempt was made to blow up a minor's cottage at tho Outtrim coal-mine, in which tweWo persons w<*«* i*—*--• A packet of golignito was thrown, but exploded too far away. Three packets of gelignite were also found in a tank in another cottage occupied by a worker at tho mine, with the apparent intention of poisoning the water.
