Beef sold at 213s to 23s 6J per cwt; best bullocks, ,£9 to £9 17s 0d each; light, £1 17s 6d to £8 7s 6d; cows, £1 2s 6tl. There was a good yarding of sheep, mostly of fair quality, and competition was keen throughout. Best wethers 18s 8d to 14s Id each ; others, 11s to 12s 6d; ewes, best, 12s Id ; others, 11s to Us lid; light do., 9s to 9s 10d ; store wethers, 9s 5d to 9s 10d ; lambs,9s 3d to 10s 6c , ; others, 8s to 8s 7d.
