Messrs F. 11. Wood and Sons, Ltd., report:—At our Mastcrton fortnightly stock sale, yesterday, the yarding in sheep was very heavy, the yards being taxed to their utmost. In lamb.-:, stores, etc., we made a clearance before the close of the djy, and, despite the hesitation on the part of the public to operate, races remained firm. In cattle the entries were not so numerous, but we submitted good quality all round, and sold the bulk, the only lines left unsold being rather too highly reserved steers.
