Adelaide, Sunday,
The Referendum votes on the Commonwealth Bill and the Household Suffrage for the Legislative Council wero taken in conjunction with tho goneral elections throughout the colony, and lent unwonted interest to the voting. Very few returns are yet complete; but the personnel of the metropolitan representation is practically unchanged. The Hon. 0, C. Kingston, Premier and Attorney-General, lias been elected for West Adelaide, through Mr Butcholor, the labour candidate, headed the poll. The figures to hand so far indicate tlmt the majorities are about six to one in favour of the Commonwealth Bill, aud two to one in favour of extending the Legislative Council to householders.
