VALUABLE PICTURES
GREAT EXHIBITION IN LONDON. (Per Press Association —Copyright) Australian Press Association. Received this day, 10.10 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 2. An exhibition of Dutch pictures valued at between six million and ten million is-being displayed at Burlington House, eclipsing the famous Flemish exhibition of 1928. The Vermeers alone are worth half a million and include the head of a girl, which was picked up in Holland for the equivalent of five shillings but is now worth £lOO.OOO.
