MARAUDING ARABS.

Mrs Tuckett, widow of Colonel Tuckett, has returned to England from Bagdad, where the Arabs murdered her husband. Colonel Tuckett came to England with the Australian forces and obtained a commission and later married a naval officer’s daughter. Mrs Tuckett, in describing the mur der, said she was with her husband and baby when marauding Arabs visited their home during the night. They hammered on the door. Tuckett opened it and was shot down and killed immediately.
