THE INSCRIPTIONS ON IT. The monument erected some years ago on the Native Cemetery Reserve, Point Bush Road, bears lettering on three faces. No. 1 is “In loving memory of Iriaha Kaikoro, died July 24,1910, aged 52 years.” No. 2—“ In memory of Huruhuru, grandfather of Temeha Huruhuru, died 1854, aged 80 years.” No. 3—“ln loving memory of Temeha Huruhuru, died Feb. 29, 1906, aged 45 years.”
