REGULATIONS FOR STEAM AND SAILING VESSELS.

Tho following penalties for breaches of tliese by-laws as heiviuafler specified are hereby imposed, aud may bo recovered according to the provisions of the s^id Act : — (a) For breach of any provision of theso bye-laws or regulations framed for the purpose of preventing Iho overloading of eleam or sailing vessels, any sum not exceeding five hundred pounds for any one voyage or attempted voyage of any vessel. (6) For breach of any provision of these by-laws or regulations framed /or tho purpose of 2'i'cvenling the overcrowding of sailing vessels with passengers, any sum not exceeding live hundred pounds i'or any one voyago or attempted voyage, to ba computed at a rale not exceeding five pounds for every passenger curried by any sailing vessel in excels ot'lhe numbers by these by-laws authorised. (c) For breach of uny other provisions of llicjc bj-laws or regulations, any eiuu not exceeding fifty pounds.
