Mrs Goldsbury, president, presided and extended a welcome to all present, including Federation members. Mrs Boyce and Miss A. Ross accompanied by Mrs Holly, entertained with several delightful songs, and a demonstration on icing a Christmas cake was given by Mrs Campbell. A donation of a lovely crystal vase from Mrs W. Ross, to be competed for as points prize for a competition during the next two years, was much appreciated; also Mrs Ross’ generosity of the Christmas cake to the inmates of the Jubilee Home. A competition was won byMrs Bruce. Results of competitions: Christmas gift, Mrs Stockman 1, Mrs Satherley 2, Mrs Dellow 3. Gooseberry jam, Mrs Smith 1, Mrs Stockman 2, Mrs Satherley 3. The singing of Christmas Carols brought a pleasant afternoon to a close.
