Hungary Speeds Up Housing
BUDAPEST. -Whole new housing estates have been built and others are nearing completion in large building operations carried, out in Hungary this year, according to the third quarterly report on the progress of the 5-Year Plan issued by the Hungarian Central Statistical Office. The 5-Year Plan provides for the construction of 36,000 dwelling units a year, or 100 fiats a day. The third quarterly report for this year states that the building industry in the past, three months doubled its production compared with the same period last year.- Reuter.
