Special Effort To Check Miners' Absenteeism
LONDON, Nov. 21 (Recd. 6pm).— The West Midlands division of the Coal Board has introduced a weekly dip with a first prize of £5, at two of its pits to cut down miners' absenteeism. Only those working a full week will be eligible for the prize.
