Two Deaths From Poliomyelitis In New South Wales
SYDNEY, Nov 20 (Recd 9.30 pm).— The deaths of two boys from poliomyelitis were reported by the Health Department today. Although the recent increase in the number of cases reported is continuing, the epidemic is still regarded as mild.
New South Wales death-roll this year is 38, compared with four in the coresponding period last year. The total number of cases this year in New South Wales is 576, compared with 127 in the same period in 1949.
