GORDON RICHARDS ON 200 WINNERS THIS YEAR
LONDON, Nov. 11 (Recd. 7.30 pm) Gordon Richards, champion jockey, rode his 200th winner of the season [when he was successful on Celebrate iin the Southern Counties Stakes today. This is the tenth occasion on | which he has riddeir2oo or more winders in a single season. | Richards rode his first winner in [1921 and has been champion jockey 23 times in the last 26 years. He has j broken nearly all Fred Archer s records and today equalled Archer’s feat 'of riding 200 or more winners for the fifth consecutive season.
