PRINCE FOXBRIDGE’S ALISON CUP SURPRISE AT AUCKLAND MEETING

AUCKLAND, Last Night (PA).— The Auckland Racing Club’s midspring meeting was held at Ellerslie yesterday in good weather. The attendance was 18,000. The track was good. The totalisator handled £149,028 10s on the win-and-place, and £20,642 on the doubles machine, a total of £169,670 10s, an increase of £28.349 on last year’s turnover of £141,321 10s.
