PAKISTAN WATCHING INVASION OF TIBET BY COMMUNIST CHINA
AUCKLAND, Last Night (PA).— Pakistan is watching the invasion of Tibet by Chinese Communist armies, according to Dr. Omar Hayat Malik, Pakistan’s Ambassador in Jakarta, capital of Indonesia, and the Hon. K. Nasarollah, a Whip in the East Bengal Government, who arrived in New Zealand today. They said in a joint interview today that there was danger there and it was up to the Government to take all precautions. The territory of India, however, lay between Pakistan and Tibet.
“The Pakistanis will make any sacrifice to preserve their independence,” added Mr. Nasarollah. The Pakistanis were also good fighters. Pakistan prided itself in producing good soldiers.
