Indian Team’s Spin Bowler Receives Offer Of £50 A Week
LONDON, Sept. 1 (Rocd. 6pm).— Sonny Ramadhin, the West Indies touring side’s successful spin bowler, has receieved an offer to sign on as professional at £5O a week from the Crompton Club, which plays in the Central Lancashire Cricket League. Crompton has not won a single match this season. Ramadhin is expected to sign a contract to play for Crompton for ten weeks. —NZPA Special Correspondent.
