RED DEAN DENIES HE SAID “LET CHINA INTO AUSTRALIA”
SYDNEY, April 21 (Reed. 10.45 p.m.) —Addressing 2000 waterside workers today. Dean Hewlett Johnson declared: “It is a damned lie that I said ‘let China into Australia.’ Dr. Johnson added that he had said that under a condition of controlled economy in the land Australia could be enriched if Chinese thinkers and workers could come here!”
