YUGOSLAVIA WILL NOT BOW TO RUSSIA
LONDON, Dec. 22 (Recd. 10 p.m.)— The Associated Press Belgrade correspondent says that while Cominform countries were celebrating Stalin’s birthday, Yugoslavia was attacking Russia at the eighth anniversary gathering of the Yugoslav army. Yugoslavia would rather die than 'surrender to Russian domination, Lieutenant-General Otmar Kreacic, the army’s political chief, told the gathering, which was attended by Marshal Tito. Kreacic said that even when YugoSavia was a member of the Cominform Russia tried to stifle the growth of the Yugoslav army and sold them inferior arms at outrageous prices.
