Judge W. F. Stilwell has been appointed additional Judge of the Court of Arbitration, according to last nights Gazette.
Mr. V. Duff, New Plymouth, has been appointed as acting nominated member of the Court of Arbitration on the recommendation of the Industrial Union of Employers.—(P.A.). Judge K. J. Archer, of Wellington, has been appointed Transport Charges Appeal Authority and also Transport Licensing Appeal Authority, states last night’s Gazette. Both appointments are for the whole of next year. —(P.A.).
Mr. W. L. Newnham, of Wellington, has been appointed to the Standards Council, states last night’s Gazette. He replaced the late Mr. F. W. Furkert, as representative of the NewZealand Institution of Engineers.— (P.A.).
