Veteran Ship Soon To Be Withdrawn
AUCKLAND, Yesterday (PA).—Th* veteran refrigerated vessel Northumberland will shortly be withdrawn from service, it is generally believed. Owned by the Federal Steam Navigation Co., Ltd., she was built in I*ls at Wallsend, England. Before the war she was the company’s “school ship,” mainly for officer cadets. The Northumberland, now in Auckland, sails for Britain soon.
