Child Drowns In Drain At Napier Park
NAPIER. Yesterday (PA).—A 34-year-old child was drowned in a drain at Kennedy Park this morning while trying to retrieve a football which had gone into the water. He was Roy Patrick Lowndes, son of Mr and Mrs Frank Lowndes, of the transit camp at Kennedy Park.
