N.Z. Will Import NonDollar Petrol If Available
WELLINGTON, Yesterday (PA).— If advice was received that non-dollar petrol was definitely available, the Prime Minister-elect, Mr. Holland, said at a Press conference today, he would have a full investigation made into the possibility of importing supplies. He was commenting on the recent cable from Australia that three cargoes of sterling petrol from France and Bahrein, totalling 13,500,000 gal--Ins, was under offer to New Zealand by a Queensland firm.
