Pupils’ And Parents’ Evenina
Mrs R. H. Tizard was hostess at a pupils’ and parents’ evening recently, 30 pupils and parents attending. Items were given as follow:—Pianoforte solos by Misses Marion House, Anne Boyland, Janet Oldridge, Heather Aiderton, Angela Downey, Shirley Dustin, Masters Earl Rogers, Barry Hudson, Brian Crothers, Dennis Dustin, Nelson Tizard: piano duets by Misses Marion House and Heather Aiderton, Angela Downey and Ailsa Tizard, Angela Downey and Heather Aiderton, Anne Boyland and Ailsa Tizard.
Two competitions were won by Mr and Mrs S. Dustin. Christmas presents were given to all pupils and a dainty supper was served by the hostess. The singing of ’’Auld Lang Syne" brought a pleasant evening to a close.
