Another Candidate For Western Maori
AUCKLAND, Last Night (PA).— Mr. R. R. M. Amohanga, of Kihikihi, has announced that he will contest the Western Maori seat as an inciaoende’,,. candidate.
He was born at Te Kuiti, 55 years ago, and is a descendant of the famous Maori warrior, Rewi Mamapoto. During the First World War fie served overseas as an officer.
Mr. Amohanga has stood for the Western Maori seat on previous occasions.
