Young Man Dies In Hospital After Sledging Accident
WHANGAREI, Last Night (PA).— Sledging on his father’s farm at Kohukohu, Leslie Maynard, aged 22, was thrown under the sledge when two horses bolted. He suffered severe internal injuries, including a broken neck and other damage to the spine. He was taken to the Rawene Hospital, where death occurred on Saturday night.
