CONFERENCE IN SINGAPORE WAS INVALUABLE
SINGAPORE, No;. 6 (Recd. 6pm).— The conference of British political and defence experts had proved invaluable, according to an official source. The conquest of China by the Communists was the core cf discussions, added the source. Possible repercussions in various countries of Southeast Asia were envisaged during the talks and plans were drawn up to cope with them. An official spokesman disclosed that the conclusions of the conference were expected to influence Britain’s future policy in the Far East a great deal.—Reuter. Terrorism In Johore SINGAPORE, Nov. 6 (Recd. 6pm)— When terrorists ambushed a truck and car in the Segamat area, Johore, yesterday, one European, two special constables and two Chinese women were killed, and six Chinese, including five women, were wounded. In South Kedan three terrorists were killed and two women members of the gang captured when security forces made a surprise attack on their camp. _______
