Canada To Make The Supreme Court Final Court Of Appeal
OTTAWA, Nov. 2 (Rec. 9 pm). — The Canadian Senate passed a Bill making the Canadian Supreme Court the final court of appeal and abolishing appeals to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in London. The Bill, already passed by the Canadian House of Commons, now awaits formal Royal assent to become law.
