CHINA’S CABINET RESIGNS
Chiang Kai-shek To Be Head Of Kuomintang HONGKONG, May 30 (Recd. 8.90 pm).—The Acting President- Lit Sung Jen. today accepted the resignation of Ho Ying Chin's Cabinet, and nominated General Chu-chen, former President of the Judicial Yuan, as the new Premier. The Cabinet decided to resign en bloc at midnight last night. Lit Sung Jen said the action had received the approval of the Kuomintang policymakers. Yuyu-Jen, President of the Control Yuan, said Generalissimo Chiang Kaishek would come to Canton within a few days to resume his post, as head of the Kuomintang, but not of the Government. Yu said Chiang would fully support Lit Sung Jen in Presidential office.
