Kai Iwi Women’s Institute
The February meeting of the Kai Iwi Women's Institute was a very happy one. The toll call—" What season of the year do you like best?”— brought forth many and varied ideas. The Golden Thread was read by Mrs Smith, her subject being "Canterbury Goes Noble." A marine competition was won by Mrs Goldsbury.
Competition results were: Piece of Christmas cake. Mrs Goldsbury 1, Mrs Smith 2; three pods of peas, Mrs Goldsbury 1. March competitions will be jar of plum jam and three tomatoes.
