Bulls: 25. 1096, 643, 4.93, 321bs, two herds, 431bs. Wangaehu-Makirikiri: 10, 332, 715, 4.79, 341bs, 22, 441bs. Westmere: 28. 1144, 630, 5.14, 321bs, 36, 411’bs. Raetihi: 24, 1019, 700, 4.87, 341bs, 31, 481bs. Taihape: 23 , 846 . 669, 4.88, 331bs, 2 herds, 371bs. Rata: 32, 1100 , 673, 5.22, 351bs, 29. 491bs. Ohakea: 25, 1158, 702, 4.90, 341bs, 26, 451bs. The association average for all cows tested in the WellingtonHawke’s Bay area during January was as follows with the same ligures for the previous yyi r in parentheses: No. of herds 1019f(1007), cows 47,000 (45,737). lbs of milk 707 (655 J test 4.89 (4.76), 34.6 fat lbs (31.2 lbs).
