Visiting Australian Athletes Appeared At Whangarei Yesterday
WHANGAREI, Last Night (PA).— Four visiting Australian athletes, Curotta, Avery, Goodacre and White were the star attractions at a sports meeting this afternoon. Heavy rain yesterday and today made the track heavy for running and treacherous for high jumping, but sterling contests in which honours were .shared by the Australians, Aucklanders and Northlanders were witnessed.
