Invitation To Winston Churchill To Visit N.Z.
NAPIER, Last Night (P.A.)—The Government is to be requested by the Municipal Association to invite Mr. Winston Churchill to visit New Zealand.
This was decided by the annual conference of the association this afternoon, the president (Mr. W. Appleton) commenting that Mr. Anthony Eden had been given a wonderful reception and he was sure Mr. Churchill would be just as ( welcome.
