Second Death From Infantile Paralysis In North Auckland
AUCKLAND, Last Night (P.A.) - The second death from infantile paralysis in North Auckland this year occurred in the Whangarei Hospital on Saturday evening, when a 12-year-old girl admitted from the Kamo district on Thursday died of polio encephalitis. This is the first death in the Whangarei area. During 'Jje last week two cases from the Kamo district were admitted to hospital. As a result the attendance at the Kamo School lei! away to an average of only about half the pupils.
