New Subscription Basis Adopted By Federated Farmers
A new scale of membership subscriptions was adopted at yesterday's meeting of the Wanganui provincial j executive of Federated Farmers on i the recommendation of the finance committee. The new rates will come ,into effect on January 1, 1949. The new subscriptions are:— j Up to 40 cows or 600 ewes, £1 10s. 41 to 75 cows or 601 to 1000 ewes, £2. I 76 to 100 cows or 1001 to 2000 Twes, £3. i More than 100 cows or more than [2OOO ewes, £5. 1 In the case of sharemilkers, herds .will be halved for subscription assess■ment.
