Aramoho Stationmaster Appointed Railways Commercial Agent

After being stationmaster, Aramoho, for the past few months, Mr. G. Carline has been promoted to the position of commercial agent for the Wanganui railway district, with headquarters in Wanganui. Mr. Carline is wel. known in Wanganui railway and commercial circles. For some years he was wharfinger at the town wharf.

No successor has yet been appointed to take over the position vacated by Mr. Carline at Aramoho, but in the meantime Mr. S. Jcrmy. senior goods clerk, anganui, is acting as stationmaster, Aramoho.

Mr. A. O. Wailace, wagon supply officer, Frankton Junction, has been nromoted to the nosition of stationmaster, Marton. He will succeed Mr. M. McKome, who has been transferred to Christchurch as leiievmg officer.

Pending Mr. Wallace’s arrival from Frankton, Mr. P. A. Scott is relieving as stationmaster. Marton.
