Hundreds Of Birds Exhibited At Homing Pigeon Show

More than 335 birds were on exhibition at the New Zealand Homing Pigeon Federation annual show held in Wanganui The champion of champions award was won by an entry submitted by W. J. Miller and daughter, Masterton. This bird won the special prize donated by D. Wilson, the President’s Rose Bowl, and the A. G. Winstone trophy for the champion cock bird in the show. Special awards made by the judges, Messrs. R. W. Hanson (Auckland), N. H. Bellringer (New Plymouth), and C. Willacy (Wanganui), follow: A. G- Winstone’s prize for champion hen in show: L. J.
