THE Public is advised that as from and including Tuesday, June 8, all Petrol Stations in the Citv and Suburbs will close at 5.30 p.m., with the exception of Fridays, when they will close at 8 p.m. These altered times will apply during the winter months. APPLICATIONS for the renewal ot Motor Drivers' Licenses for the year 1948-49 may now be made at the Council’s Office, Campbell Place, Wanganui. APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO APPLY IN PERSON and produce their last License. Persons over the age of 70 years must obtain a medical certificate on the prescribed form, and undergo a driving test with the Traffic Inspector. The Transport Department has requested that persons over 7(1 undergo them test on WEDNESDAY. June 23, 1948. TESTING.—The ’’’raffle Inspector will be available on each MONDAY, 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
