Maori Anglican Synod Meets At Putiki
A meeting of the Maori Anglican Synod was held at Putiki during the week-end and was attended by Maoris from as far away as the Wairarapa. the King Country and Taranaki. The meeting opened on Saturday and concluded yesterday.
The Bishop of Wellington, the Rt. Rev. R. H. Owen, was present at the meeting on Sunday and preached the sermon at a service at the Putiki Memorial Church.
