CHRISTCHURCH HAS ITS FIFTH CASE
(P.A.) Christchurch, May 24. Another positive case of infantile paralysis —the fifth in Christchurch since the outbreak began—was notified to the Department of Health today. The patient, a nine-ear-old hoy living at New Brighton, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital as a suspected case on Saturday last A positive case in Christchurch, girl agedJ7, was reported on May G. Before that the last was on January 20.
