Church Of England Report On Marriage
London, Jan. 25. A social and industrial commission of the Church of England report describes the essential act of marriage as “not sexual intercourse, but the establishment of a home as a proper setting for parenthood.” The report emphasises the dangers of a wrong view on marriage, and inhuman planning in the “welfare state.” It. adds that the Church must contribute more to community life.
