Girl Loses Leg In Harbour Accident
(P.A.) Auckland, Dec. 28 A Hamilton girl spending her holidays in Auckland suffered injuries which later required tlffi amputation of her left leg. She was Josephine Woolier, aged 16 daughter of Mr. F. G. Woolier, of Hamilton. The party had set out from Panmure in a 26ft. mullet, boat. Passing under the Panmure Bridge, the boat was caught bv the tide and the girl, who was sitting near the side, had her leg crushed between the boat and a pile of the bridge. She was sent to the Middlemore Hospital.
