Small Epidemic In South Australia
Adelaide, Dec. 27. The outbreak of infantile paralysis in South Australia must now; be regarded as a small epidemic, said Dr. A. R. Southwood, chairman of the Adelaide Central Board of Health. Forty-nine cases have been reported since September. Last year 66 cases were reported. Three deaths occurred during the week, bringing the total deathroll since September 10 to eight. Children are being kept ou.t of the city because of the epidemic threat. -
