Tropical Heat Wave In Los Angeles
Recd. 8.20 p.m. New York, Dec. 27. While New York shivered, the temperature at Los Angeles today reached a record for December 26 of 84 degrees. It was a day of a tropical heat wave which has broken all records for unseasonable weather. The heat sent thousands to the beaches. In the area around Los Angeles temperatures ranging from the middle 70’s to above 80 were reported.
