WANGANUI WOOL SALE
THE OFFICIAL REPORT “The second wool sale of the season commenced at 2 o’clock on Saturday afternoon and continued until 10 p.m.” states the official report of the Wanganui Wool Brokers’ Association on last Saturday's sale. ‘Some 32,000 bales were offered to a full bench of buyers. Prices were on a par with recent sales, but bidding was not at all animated, although for lambs, pieces and bellies, and slipe and scoured, competition was quite keen Bradford and Continental buyers took the bulk of the offering, approximately 35 per cent, being taken over by the Joint Organisation.
