GONVILLE CLUB

The Gonville Bowling Club had a very successful opening of the season on Saturday. Welcoming a full green of old and new players, the president, Mr. L. W. Chisholm, expressed appreciation of the presence of so many ladies among the visitors. He especially thanked those members who had given so generously ot their time and effort during the off season to make the prospects ot the club fbright. After Mrs. Chisholm had rolled the "kitty” and played the first bowl, the president declared the green open. The ladies’ competition was won by Mrs. H. Blomfield. Afte. 'noon tea was served by Mrs. Chisholm and a committee ot ladies.
